Barbod Nekoufar

I have always been passionate about creating and performing music from a young age. throughout the years I have been involved in substantial amount of projects as a performer, producer and composer. I am primarily a guitarist and Persian Setar player but I also have experience as a solo and choir singer.

In my journey as a musician i have never intended to limit myself into a specific genre and I have always been up to experiencing new ideas and the goal has been to make a good music. As a seasoned musician and producer I have been playing and producing in different settings and genres such as integrating Persian Setar into electronic/ambient music with a trio ensemble, guitar and Setar Duo and more contemporary popular genres such as pop, rock, blues, funk, and producing song in dance and EDM genres.

I am currently a final year popular music student at Huddersfield university and recently I have been writing and producing an album that consist of 5 vocal songs and 2 instrumentals. The vocal song are primarily in EDM genre and subgenres the instrumentals are also in EDM genre which has been integrated with Persian Setar.
