Henry Blanke

Henry Pierre Lamar Blanke, born on 11 July 2007 in Moers, is an aspiring German film composer. He began playing the piano at the age of six, with some breaks along the way, and took up the violin at fifteen.

His journey into composition started in 2021, and in 2023, he composed his first film score as part of a school project. Since then, he has written music for three different films and one piece for a company.

His music is inspired by classical composers, e.g., Mahler, Bruckner, Stravinsky, but also modern composers, e.g., Phillip Glass, Schönberg, and John Williams.
