Joshua Krosenbrink, also known in the ambient scene as j05hu4, is a Dutch electronic music producer, engineer and acoustician. His musical style is eclectic going from neo classical avantgarde to writing and producing R&B tracks for artists and circling back to ambient electronic sound scapes.

As the founder of Electro Acoustic Labs in Amsterdam, Joshua’s work is characterized by a “hybrid” philosophy: utilizing transparent digital signal flows for processing while relying on high-end, often custom-built, analog components to impart warmth, saturation, and a “bigger-than-life” quality to his tracks.

His background in C++ programming, DSP and psycho acoustics heavily informs his approach to audio engineering, though his compositional style is rooted in improvisation and traditional music theory.
