Collin Winters

Collin Winters is a young, talented, multi-instrumentalist from Leander, Texas. Winters is currently a student at Texas State university studying music education. Born in April of 2003, Winters grew up in Leander, joining band in 6th grade and continuing all throughout college. Initially a drummer, he quickly learned how to play guitar, bass, piano and sing.

With all of the ability needed for a full band, he decided to start making music for fun. This ignited a passion and spark inside of him to continue this passion. The only other musician in his family is his brother, who lives with his wife in a separate household. So he had to teach himself how to play every instrument other than his primary (drumset). He also taught himself how to produce, mix and master his own music.

Coming a long way as a jack-of-all-trades, he loves every genre of music and doesn’t try to constrict himself to one genre only. He’s open to all kinds of music and sees the good in all music. Winters is ready for the world to see his music, he writes intricate, complex, twisting parts, that work together as well as have their own individual groove and style.
