An East London-based producer, DJ and songwriter, Dr. J has had a love for soul and dance music since childhood.

A man of almost two decades experience in music creation and production of his solo work and commissions for a number of theatre productions along the way, he uses his passion to craft sound and music that shares his heart, soul and love for Jesus.

Combining the elements of soul music he loves most into sonic stories, he has always had a penchant for the bold and the emotive. Be it basslines or polyrhythms, vocal harmonies or woven syncopation, his productions are about capturing the heart of the dancer, the mind of the music- lover and the soul of anyone with questions as they journey through life.
