With an ear for all things melancholy, atmospheric and beat-driven, the music that flows from the restless mind of Idioteque melds worlds between trip-hop, electronica and alternative rock, taking influences from an amalgam of artists, he refuses to be pigeon-holed.

Entirely self produced, the boundary pushing producer ties together a love of guitar-led melodies, experimentation and unfamiliar beat structures, Idioteque’s ideas are eclectic and ever-evolving, with the latest collection of songs honing in on his more personal and emotive side to the creative process.

Following on from ‘Keeping You Alive = Killing Me More’ and a string of praised singles, Idioteque’s new EP ‘A Stone’s Throw From Home’ shares a similar collaborative style as previous releases, featuring personnel who have become regular members of the expanding collective. Working on each track in separate sessions, the results emphasise each individual’s own external influence, all the while being tied together by the vision of Idioteque’s own universe.

Shortly after his acclaimed 2025 EP, Idioteque introduced his latest single ’34,33’, featuring the incomparable Isa Sin on lyrics & vocals.

Transitioning from studio to the stage, the music is guided by live drums, guitars and a revolving door of vocalists, accompanied with programmed atmospheres, bass, sampled dialogue and visuals from classic movies and video games; creating a truly immersive, mood shifting audio visual experience.

Idioteque’s work has been supported internationally, with airplay on major stations including BBC Radio and FIP, while receiving press and playlist coverage from the likes of Spotify Editorial, Still Listening Magazine’s hype list for 2026, Clunk Magazine, V13 Media, The Post Athens, and Static Sounds Club, alongside a broad network of independent radio and curator platforms.
