Matt Apsi

Hello, I’m Matthew Karl Apsitis (Matt Apsi), my Soundcloud name is ‘The Bloke Down the road’.

I’m 57 and from Gower, near Swansea. I’ve been writing for about 18 years and playing for about 40. I’ve been concentrating on acoustic guitar based songs for about 15 months, but also write electronic/ Midi tracks. I send songs regularly to two libraries and have tracks with four. I currently get about 3,300 plays a week on Soundcloud. My output is pretty consistent – I write most days. I am happy to write bespoke songs. I am also currently getting a song done by Soul Sanctuary gospel Choir.
