About Michael Lynch
MICHAEL LYNCH is a New York singer-songwriter whose music leans toward ’60s pop, folk rock, garage and beat, but who can also churn out melodic and enjoyable songs and instrumentals that fit squarely in the present.
A musician since aged 9, Michael has a long history of playing in bands as well as performing as a soloist, tackling guitar, keyboards and bass. When not playing in bands he writes jingles, themes and bumpers for a myriad of radio shows and podcasts. He has contributed themes and original music for the Tom Hanks hosted monthly radio show ‘Songs From the Back Of the Station Wagon’ for TuneIn station Boss Radio 66 since the show’s 2021 debut.
In the Fall of 2018, one of Michael’s compositions, ‘Come Spy With Me,’ earned the weekly honor of ‘Coolest Song In the World’ on the Sirius station Little Steven’s Underground Garage by way of its recording by New York power-punk singer Palmyra Delran (who co-wrote the song with Michael and whose backing band has included Michael on bass and vocals since 2010.)
